Dealer Allocation

So, does anyone understand EXACTLY how dealer allocation works? Does a dealer get an allocation of RT's, and a seperate allocation of SRT's? Or just a total Challenger allocation?

With the RT's starting production over a month ahead of the SRT's (tentatively), I'd really hate being screwed out of my '09 just because I wanted an SRT, and 20 people showed up behind me wanting RT's.

Re: Dealer Allocation

With the Jeeps my SRT allocation is seperate from the regular Grand Cherokees. I would assume that the Challengers will work the same way.

Thanks, CJ. That's what I was wondering. I knew the allocation wasn't known yet, but was just curious if SRT's were seperate. This offers me some comfort, I was panicking a little after losing out on an '08 due to allocation.

And not that I don't trust you, CJ, but are there any other dealers on the forum that have experience selling SRT's? Is the SRT allocation seperate at your dealership as well?

SRT’s have their own allocation. R/T’s have their own allocation, so the R/T’s won’t affect the SRT allocation calculation.

Thanks. I asked on RLD, too. This is what I wanted to hear.
