Dealer says tags are in the mail...

I bought the car on 5/4 in NC. Did all the paperwork at the dealer including paperwork for my Maryland tags. Was given a temp tag that expired on 6/5. I haven't received my license plates yet. I been in contact with my salesman a few times now and people in the finance department who handles the paperwork. They have been assuring me the plates were mailed out on 6/10 but couldn't provide a tracking number.

Anyone else ever have to wait this long for their dealer to provide their license plates?

Call your MD Tag Office and give them your VIN #. They should be able to tell you the status of your plates.

If the temp expired how are you still driving it? If you are, hope you don't get stopped as they legitimately are no longer valid.

As I have grown older, I've learned that pleasing everyone is
impossible- but pissing everyone off, is a piece of cake.
