Re: Did the Challenger burst your Charger bubble?

The Challenger is a sweet car but some people have kids and need 4 doors . Nothing wrong with a 4 door hot rod

Re: Did the Challenger burst your Charger bubble?

I loved my stone white hemi charger but I had to sell her to make room for the challenger. The Charger and challenger are essentially the same and share a lot of similar mechanicals.

Re: Did the Challenger burst your Charger bubble?

to be honest, I've always wanted a 'dukes of hazzard' 69' charger. And when I seen the orange challenger it instantly became the true modern day robin hood, for me. pun intended I really don't think it would've mattered which muscle car had the two door. Dodge very well could've made the charger the better looking muscle car. ohh well. Remember the old GTO hot rod's. then pontiac tried to relive it and destroyed the look of old with a 4-door. This new challenger is friggin awesome, to say the least.

Re: Did the Challenger burst your Charger bubble?

Umm, there has never been a official Pontiac 4 door GTO. Dealers may have added GTO stickers to 4 door cars, but all GTO's, from 64 -74 and 04-06 have been 2 doors.

Re: Did the Challenger burst your Charger bubble?

The Challenger didn't burst my Charger bubble. Part of it is that I already have a Challenger, and have had it for 20+ years. The other reason is that I found it disappointing that the SRT Challenger isn't the top performing Mopar V8 car. I can't see trading my Charger in (costing me $$$) just because the Challenger looks different.

Oops. your correct I mistaking the gto with the grand prix. Either way, The point I wanted to get across was when an old muscle car comes back, we all look forward to seeing a modern day envision of what we remember about the hot rod.

The challenger definately burst my charger bubble

I got the charger only because i thought the challenger would never make it to production. Now Im a believer and have to have one. Im glad I waited it out for the 09's as well. I didnt want the auto again. If I were you, Id hold off and get the challenger in a few months, maybe ask for a small extension on your lease
