Dodge Challenger Production Totals 2008-2012

It's the production numbers not sales numbers.
You have to consider the 2010 were produced from mid July 2009 to October 2010 with November being taken off to re-tool for the 2011.

What's surprising for the 2010 MY is the low number of SRT's built?

RS, There's one color missing for 2010.... Hemi Orange. I know it was a filler color between PCP and FF. March 2010.

Looks like my numbers for 2010 from an earlier post were closer than I thought?

not sure if I did read this somewhere but I think that black was the number 1 color. so your toxic should be a low volume number.

I wouldn't read too much into the sales numbers of late. They didn't start actually building 2011 cars until January and add onto that the Sunami in Japan killed a lot of the colors too.

1492 were IEs, leaving 3773 divided among 7 other colors--leaving the other colors much rarer than IEs for 2011...

* 3.6 V6 offered improvement in MPG & performance
* fleet sales to rental car agencies
* price entry point of V6 vs. V8 models

(Ford sells a LOT of V6 'Stangs - probably for every GT, there's 2.25 V6 models sold), especially when factoring in rental car fleet sales
