I do. Any correct information is greatly appreciated. Sorry if it came off as rude.

RS, you took the trouble of pointing out which colors were available with (except SRT) behind the corresponding colors. To be consistant some colors were not available for SE's, like B5 Blue and Hemi Orange for 2009 and 2010.
For 2011 Deep Water Blue is not listed at all and should have (Except SE, RT). Tungsten and Blackberry should have (Except SRT)

So when it was pointed out that 2009 production dates were over a month off that didn't change the numbers?
If you are trying to discourage people like me from posting this type of information, then you are on the right track with your comments. The title of the thread is "... Production Totals". Show me the errors in post number 1 that make my information (much of it revealed for the very first time btw) "pretty much worthless". The efforts involved a LOT of donated hours of work, believe me when I say that. Considering that I am not a Challenger owner I would think that my gratis efforts for this community (hundreds of hours over the years) would be more appreciated. I am quite sure I could find better things to do with the limited amount of spare time I have.

The 2nd post was a "bonus" section that I thought I would put together to compliment the 1st post. Notice that at the top of the post I clearly stated "***in progress***". My intention was to get everything laid out in a format, and then start tweaking, adding, adjusting and correcting from there.

To trash my efforts because of a couple of typos is quite unfair. When working with data and numbers, especially for long hours AFTER a long workday, it's easy to transpose numbers and have an error or two here and there. Then you have to consider all of the constant date changes and delays from Chrysler. I have to search out documents as well as my old posts to try and find "final" production dates.

As for the "colors" I knew I did not have everything accurate and complete, but I had to start somewhere and get them "on paper", I had planned to go over them all model year by model year. Again, another area that becomes challenging with all of the changes and variations over the years.

My ultimate goal was to be able to put all of the production related information into one nicely laid out thread, being that the information that has been available up to now is spread out over tons of posts going back several years. And I wanted to fill in production numbers for the model years in which this information was unknown. I already went through some hassles and BS a few months back with the fiasco that was going on then. Constructive criticism/corrections/comments/additions are always welcome. But trust me when I say that running into continued unjustified negativity/unappreciation will result in a permanent parting of the ways here...

It's all good... back to the task at hand:

Would everyone rather see the colors posted as they are, like this:

E. Exterior Colors:

B-5 Blue (except SE)
Bright Silver
Brilliant Black
Dark Titanium (except SRT)
Deep Water Blue (except SRT)
Hemi Orange (except SE)
Inferno Red (except SRT)
Stone White (except SRT)
Torred

-OR-

Would it be better like this:

E. Exterior Colors:

SE
Bright Silver
Brilliant Black
Dark Titanium
Deep Water Blue
Inferno Red
Stone White
Torred

R/T
B-5 Blue
Bright Silver
Brilliant Black
Dark Titanium
Deep Water Blue
Hemi Orange
Inferno Red
Stone White
Torred

SRT
B-5 Blue
Bright Silver
Brilliant Black
Hemi Orange
Torred

I personally like your second choice for color layout. It would be better should the production numbers by color become available. Totally appreciate the work you put in to provide what you can to us owners that don't have access to the information.

RS, please don't let people and comments like that distract you from providing the information that most of us here on the forum value. WE appreciate what you're doing.

To me, posts like that are analogous to "looking a gift horse in the mouth": either take the horse or don't - no need to criticize the gifter; no ones making you take it.

The same applies to this post folks...
