Great info, more than we get from Chrysler. I had no idea the SE/SXT for 2010 and 2011 was outselling the RT model. I am surprised.

TorRed SE Model purchased: 2/05/09 (gone but not forgotten)
TorRed R/T Classic ordered: 4/06/13
R/T Classic born on: 6/04/13
R/T Classic delivered on: 6/21/13
Mods installed:
Mopar CAI
RiderGraphix spoiler graphic
Skip-to-shift eliminator
Cursive Challenger on grille
Engine Cover air brush painted
Billet under the hood stuff
MOPAR door sills

In Florida, the Challenger's are selling good. There are 4 dealers around me and they never seem to have any challenger's on the lot. I love my Challenger and would buy another one, given the chance.

I'm guessing this would be true of most vehicles, regardless of brand or model. The entry level trim would sell more, because of the lower price point, with the top level trim having the lowest production/sales numbers. It would be especially true of the Challenger, because of the large price gap between trim levels.

Looks like the Challenger hit its peak in 2010 and is declining in sales steadily now. I bet Dodge pulls the plug after 2014. Just my opinion.

Bright White was not listed but was available on 11's. My RT is an 11 model.

I was thinking the same thing, but didn't mention it because I would probably get bashed... we'll get bashed together now.

I think that a manufacturer won't keep a vehicle in production with less than 40K unit sales per model year. 2010 had a long production year, because of the delayed release of the refreshed '11 models.

My 2010 R/T Classic was built in late June 2010. I don't remember seeing 2011s on the lots until February or so.

I still find here that the Dodge folks have no cars on their lot's. I found my car on line when they were doing the rebates and took sale of it when they agreed to drop the price down a few thousand from the MSRP.

I see introduction of 8 speed auto in MY2013, interesting

Production numbers for 2011 were down, but I don't think it shows a trend. That was short model year run, with other problems arising as well (colour shortage). Were only 3.5 months into MY2012, and they're on track to produce around 40-45K challengers.
