Dodge to make V6 RT's in 2015?

I saw on the "2015 Challenger Info" thread.....conversation about V6 RT's being offered as part of the 2015 product linup. This brings many questions to my mind:

1. What would be the difference between a V6 RT, and a SXT with TRAC PAC and 20 inch wheels (he!! most RT's don't have those goodies).

2. Why have lineups at all. If they do that, why not sell Challengers with any/all options possible (I like this idea).

3. With this logic, could they not make SRT V6's....or 5.7L SRT's?

What say you?

It will be interesting to see I'd think they'd want to keep the R/T in the middle performance wise between the V6 models and the SRT but who knows what they're planning. Maybe the SRT is the only V8 option and the R/T is a turbo charged 6 cylinder. The catch 22 there being offering a V6 turbo R/T classic just doesn't sound right. I figured I'd rather buy now than possibly ending up regretting I didn't later.

Take it easy

It just can't be an R/T without a big-ass rumbly V8 under the hood.

In 2011, Dodge came out with the 392...and at that time...Dodge earned some serious respectability points.

But they stayed "dormant" for 3 years. They don't have Ford resources/capitol. I think 2015 will be a "Blow Out" year.

* Perhaps the SRT Hellcat will come with Bigger Brakes and All Forged motors (maybe aluminum blocks).
* Maybe the RT's will be Blown V6's (Don't like this at all. I'd rather have a V8, even if it has less power. You can always add "blower."
*Who knows what the SXT's will be. Maybe they will be non blown V6's.

Who knows what they really have planned. Maybe a turbo V6 as an RT.... We will see come Spring Fest or NY auto show I guess. I am content with my '13 RT Classic!

eh they had R/T Nitros, Calibers, Avengers, and Caravans (may God have mercy on their souls on that last one) so why not a V6 R/T challenger?...history and heritage have already left the building
