Thats very intriguing to say the least. I was wondering how this system actually worked. Can you still use the key to start the car also? or is it just a finger in the hole?

Re: Does any one else's dash say this?

This makes the most sense. A removeable piece that fits in the keyhole so you can have it in and do the pushbutton thing or if there is some failure in the system take it out and use the key like a normal car. maybe this insert things is in the glove box, or trunk or something?

Re: Does any one else's dash say this?

Interesting.... This reminds me of my Charger when I first bought it. It had a photocell in the dash for turning on the headlights automatically. However, the headlight switch did not have an "Automatic" position makred on the dash. Low and behold, pull the knob off, grind of the stop peg on the back and viola, the mysteriously missing automatic headlight position could be selected by turning the knob to the left past off. lol Of course, Dodge eventually straightened out the issue but the experience of the guys on Chargerforums is what made the issue known. Hopefully for the '08 owners, this pushbutton start thing will be solved in a similar manner. We have a decent er... uh.. start... hehe

Re: Does any one else's dash say this?

Thanks for that pic money2burn.
He has to be missing the button.
Jerry tell Garza to put down his coffee cup you need that button that isnt right to just have a hole there.
How did Dodge miss that? How did the dealership miss that?
