Does Chrysler Customer Support have the ability to see E, F & G status?

Where are all the E, F & G statuses coming from? Do the folks on the Chrysler Customer Support 1-800 number have access to any more information than those tracking under VinWin or VinVision?

I know that in VinWin/VinVision cars are going from D1 to I without showing the other statuses. I'm trying to be patient and not bug my dealer (or the folks on the CS hotline) as I really don't think they have any more information that what I'm seeing in the Registry & VinWin. BTW - Thanks Venthos for all your hard work on this!

Anyway, I know it's been a long time waiting for a lot of folks on the board (Venthos especially), but has been pretty disheartening to see similar build Challengers (6-speed R/T's in DWB) rolling down the line while mine seems to just sit in D1. I really feel for the guys with the Stone White R/Ts that are still sitting in I after almost 2 weeks. Anyway thanks for reading!

Straight from my straight shooting dealers lips, thats where. He has a better view than us.

I dont know if hajji can see this movement in his crystal ball yet Ill call and see and reprt what I find out.
Good idea to test info like this.

Re: Does Chrysler Customer Support have the ability to see E, F & G status?

Just called hajji he says I'm in F That was this am I'm sure its baking I can smell it from here......Vin win says nothing to date ,but Bob knows and he called this am that I was in F!!
I will have my car by the dates on vin win which is the 27th 7 pm..So they do hold to the scheduled delivery times if possible.

I go with the info man Bob's answer and I'm sure vin win will catch up asap.

Delivery asap next week early.

I agree NOT SURE. Dealer and India's info is more detailed and up to date. My wife called India today and was informed that my car is now in J status. Where Vinwin says that it's still I.

Re: Does Chrysler Customer Support have the ability to see E, F & G status?

Thanks for all the feedback guys!. However I think it's making me more depressed. Just got of the phone with Customer Service and I'm still in D1 as of 9/5. No movement. The funny thing is when they tell you congratulations you are scheduled to ship on 9/17, then they realize that was 8 days ago!

Re: Does Chrysler Customer Support have the ability to see E, F & G status?

Yeah...I'm in the same boat. Still in D1 as of 9/5...so it looks like either: they haven't updated their system and my car is built but sitting or it is delayed and hasn't gone down the line yet. Called my dealer today and he confirmed that 9/5 was the last update...

Re: Does Chrysler Customer Support have the ability to see E, F & G status?

i called Chrysler earlier today and they told me i was in F status....prior to that i was in D status as of 9/11....so i went from D to F....none of this info shows up in the VIN tracker....it says my VIN is not in D1 or later status....perhaps it will change when i hit I status ?.....this seems to be the case with other owners.....anyways very friendly and helpful staff in India
