Yeh, I think the SRT Challenger will be much closer to 50 (or more) than 40. I have little interest in anything other than the SRT version.

FORGET THAT. If it even approaches that price, its VIPER time for me. Ill buy a used 318/slant 6 Challanger and make it a fun cruiser. $50,000 will buy ALOT of car and although the '71 challenger is my second fave muscle car, behind the '71 Cuda, I will not get bent over the table just to have it. Now make a Cuda, and ill supply the vaseline!

I have no interest in the SRT. Want an R/T with a stick. Out the door for 35K tops, otherwise it's time to go shopping elsewhere. Hate to say that but this is after all, a toy, not a necessity. Not planning to buy till late 09 or early 10 anyway depending on what's available.

Do agree that 08 models will be thru the roof, probably same deep into 09. After that I think things will cool a bit, at least for the "base models" whatever they turn out to be. All that assumes they actually plan to mass produce it as opposed to limited production. In that case I'm out anyway.
