Re: Employee Pricing Plus Plus details - direct from Chrysler!
Went out and bought my wife a 2008 Sahara 4 dr Wrangler.
MSRP $28,750
EP $25,500
I also got the $1,250 credit union financing, another $1,000 rebate and $500 plus 3 years of oil changes for the military credit. Ended up paying $20,710 for the whole thing. At first they offered 0% financing for 60 months. I knew this was wrong but kept my mouth shut. They caught the mistake so I ended up going through my CU.
So in the last 6 months I bought a 2009 R/T, 2009 SRT8 and a 2008 Wrangler. Can't say I didn't help the company out.
Traded in the wife's Mini Cooper S. That car was fun for the first 10 minutes. No room and was like a go cart. Glad to see it go.

Re: Employee Pricing Plus Plus details - direct from Chrysler!
here's my situation. the dealer i'm in contact with could get me this car from a different dealer lot for 28k:
$30,454 = R/T F-Package, black
$959 = manual trans
$950 = sunroof
$200 = hood stripes
$195 = uconnect
$995 = sound group
$725 = destination
-------------------------
$33,880 = total MSRP
$30,500 = EP (roughly)
like I said, 28k. but only if I leave him a $5.000 non-refundable deposit. I mean, it's not like I don't know what I'm getting. He told me he needs some kind of security that if he's getting the car from the other dealer I'm definitely taking it. But I still don't feel comfortable leaving that kind of money as a deposit. non-refundable that is.
Sorry for all my questions and posts, I just don't wanna mess up my first new car purchase
Re: Employee Pricing Plus Plus details - direct from Chrysler!
Has anyone got the chrysler loyalty rebate in addition to the EP Plus and how much it actulaay is on the R/T? I got my R/T yesterday and they screwed up the finacing, they actually gave me 2.9% for 60 which would have actually made them inelligable to get the EP money back from chrysler. I wanted the 0% for 48 and had to get the program numbers from this forum to look up and got it today, but of course said they knew of no loyalty program. Want to go again tommorow to try for it now that I have the webpage.
Also, Are salepeople "obligated" to let you know all the rebates that are availiable if asked?
Re: Employee Pricing Plus Plus details - direct from Chrysler!
If thats what it takes i would give him a credit card number; you can dispute it if something goes wrong or if the car turns out to be damaged or whatever.
I don't like putting that large of a deposit either but i guess if he has to get the car. But remember he should be able to sell that R/T if you don't buy it either.
Negoiate the deposit or give him a credit card number to hold it
No cash period.

Re: Employee Pricing Plus Plus details - direct from Chrysler!
We wrote last night; i learned more today: no loyalty program for the Challengers. Only employee pricing, then the addtional 1000 dollars for financing through Chrysler or a credit union and YES you can get the 0% for 48 months OR the 2.9% for 60 months. I had my sales guy read it to me today, Chrysler cleared these items up today ALONG with employee pricing on the SRT.
Funny i was talking to a sales guy off of ebay today and he said NO he couldn't give employee pricing on his SRT and then i sent him the emails from the dealership in my area. He said let me go call my Chrysler rep. a bit later he replied. "your right on about the SRT and employee pricing".
