Engine cover: Leave it on or off?

On my "10" R/T, I still have my engine cover on. Would it be stupid to take it off? Would it cool the engine off a little? Or should I just leave it on? Im just curious.

Take it off. Better cooling, and remove 7 lbs of dead weight from the front.

I wish they would have never put it on there and I wish they put better looking valve covers on. Like the 6.1s have.

I leave mine on; I don't mind the look.

I fancied it up just a little:

I take mine off in the warmer months and put it on in the cooler months. Pretty ugly under there without it though.

I Like That Look! I Need To Do Something To My Engine Cover! My Car Is The Brilliant Black Crystal Pearl. Got Any Suggestions On What Would Look Good On My Cover With My Color On My Car?

My car is brilliant black pearl also and I went with B5 blue as the accent color on the engine cover because (1) blue goes well with black and (2) the Mopar cold air intake filer just happened to be close to that color. The picture below is from last year, I have since added other B5 blue parts so it's not so dark and black under there. I got the engine cover insert from RPI, a vendor here.

Moroso and Billet Tech both have valve covers for the R/T -- super expensive, upwards of $900+ but very nice.
