ESP?

I dont know if it's been asked or answered before but, with the STP option you can turn off the ESP completely. With just the TP option you can only take out the part of the ESP. I have a Predator and know I can do it that way but I dont want it turned off all the time. So what I'm asking is can the dealer activate that function or is there a seperate or different module/ESP button you can add?

if you have STP you need to hold the esp button to turn it off all the way.

If the ethanol is the light end of the fuel, maybe we could have a metal pot sitting over an open fire, and pour gas in the pot and let the fire heat it up until the ethanol cooks off

Fill out your signature so we know what you have. Our 2011 doesn't have STP but I can completely disable ESP by holding the traction control button down for ~5 seconds. Older models apparently have a "key trick" to disable it, but I don't recall if that is only with STP-equipped vehicles or not. Since you have a Predator I assume you own a 2010 or older.

Sorry it's a 2010 6 speed, Classic. It does not have the super track pack. The SRT's have this function as well.

Try this...

28. To completely disable the ESP/Traction Control. While moving at more than 15 mph, you turn the key to START and hold it for a few seconds until the system chimes. (Don't worry, the starter won't engage). The chimes indicate that the ESP is now completely disabled until you turn the engine off. This is known as the "key trick."

I tried the key trick when I first bought the car and it didnt work. What I want to know is can this feature be activated by the dealer with the star scan, like the DRL's? or does something have to be added to the system like another module/ESP button?

Ok, call 2 different dealerships and talked to 3 different technicians and they didn't have a clue.
