Exhaust or electric cutouts?

I'm planning on doing something with my exhaust on my 09 srt8. I'm thinking about getting the cutouts. Could it keep the regular exhaust and install cutouts on that? Thanks for the advice...

You can keep your factory exhaust and add cutouts too it.

Also, having the cutouts, would it confuse the computer programing or should I tune it with a diablo?

It does not add power. These need a little back pressure. Does not mess with computer. Search the 392 srt8 section for electric Cutouts. I installed them on my challenger and I had them on several other cars. You do need a good set. I like the DMH ones.

When you go from closed to open the motor will lean out. ( Engine Management Advanced Tuning, by Greg Banish, page 128 ) Watch your Af wideband. Youll see. Yes you can add fuel to the motor with DS product, is the only way. Open, add fuel. Close, take fuel away. PIA... If camed up and it pops, sounds good. No Cam No Pop sounds like @$^&%%$ lost muffler

If the exhaust cut-outs will not add any power (for racing) and will make the car super loud (i.e., a cop magnet), maybe its just me, but I don't see the point.
