It finnally had to happen???

Sat. morning I went to the gym to workout. I parked my 3 week old R/T away from the other cars and trucks. This was at 6:00 am and there were only 3 cars in the lot. I came out after and some freekin idiot backed into my car and scraped the paint on the front bumper and also put in a crease in it. The idiot who did this didn't even have the nads to come into the gym and say something. Just Hit and Run... As there were only 4 cars there we think we know witch one it was and the police are investigating it. Went to the body shop after work , probably cannot get the bumper crease out and will need a new one---That part cost $520.00 plus paint and labor for a total of $921.00-----If I ever meet this bone head I will have a few choice words for him. any way just had to vent a little---caliberay

Re: It finnally had to happen???

Ouch sorry to hear about the car. I'm always trying to park where no one has to get to close to me but it happens.

Re: It finnally had to happen???

sorry to hear man. people just can't get the idea and respect others rides. I worry every time I go to park and try parking as far away and somewhat hidden if possible. I've had a few close calls with people damn near side swiping my car its as if we have to be on full alert all of the time. good luck to ya.

Re: It finnally had to happen???

I am sorry to hear that. I am extremely OCD about my vehicles and would be very upset if that happened me. It is always the worst when a new car, especially one as special as these, gets their first battle scar. I hope everyone on the forum has good luck and avoids accidents, scrapes, dents, and door dings.

So sorry to hear that. I am so paranoid about mine! Makes my window tinting issues not seem so bad.

Here's what I do: park next to the most expensive cars you can find, and you'll have a better chance of not getting damaged. People with really nice cars tend to watch their doors more when opening them.
