Talking First time

Went to the Ft Lauderdale Auto show this weekend & saw the Challenger "In Person" for the first time-an 09 Torred R/T wow! VERY NICE -Didn't get to sit in though, they had it on a revolving stand. Probably wouldn't be able to pry me out of it once I sat in it until they gave me the keys-then I would've drove off! . I picked up a brochure-I was hoping they would offer a plum crazy purple or lime green paint scheme but didn't see those listed in the Dodge book

Re: First time

What are your impressions on the TorRed ? When I see the Hemi Orange in pics I'm all hot over it , but when I see the TorRed - it's not the same car for me it seems (maybe the lack of stripes) but the color is missing that spice that ignites me somehow . Was your impressions similar prior to seeing it in person , and then how do you compare after ?

The Hemi Orange pearl is definitely the color to have next to Plum Crazy purple or Lime green IMO. I'm not a fan of the color "Red".On a Ferrari its a natural choice-on a vette -Nah, on the Challenger -Nah- JMO. Now if it were like the Vette's Crytal red metalic tintcoat or the 50th Anniversary Crimson red pearl -HELL YEAH!

Re: First time

P.S. The first thing I would do is "Slam it" aka lower it-it looks like its ready to go 4 wheeling! "Stance is everything"

Ya the R/T is somewhat higher than SRT , reminds me of all Mustangs coming out in 4X4 stance too heheh we have the same saying

Definately needs lowering - I find the SRT with its 20s is perfect .... we'll see how the Mopar performance parts make it sit on the ones opting for these parts , otherwise an aftermarket kit will be the first mod too here ! Stance IS everything along with handling

Re: First time

How high is the SRT? I thought it looked a little high already.
