Wink Future Value

Hagerty Insurance surveyed its members as to which cars will become collectibles in 2027. Among the cars cited were the Dodge Viper and Chrysler 300C. According to Hagerty, "the main ingredients that make cars desirable are cool designs and honest performance. Cars that look hot but don't perform won't end up being desirable in the long term."

The Challenger certainly fits this definition. I guess as soon as it is released it will join the "collectible" ranks.

Re: Future Value

Scion XB? Right, like the Scion XB is going to be anything more than grist for the scrapheap.

High-horsepower Challengers are locks to be collectibles in the future. And if they truly limit the production numbers, they will just be that much more collectible, although I'll take affordable and plentiful over collectible any day. But I'm sure the 425+ HP cars will all be collectible and the 500 or 600 HP cars will be rabidly collectible.
