Re: Goldman Sachs fuel futures/Dodges new Gas Card incentive.
Your right thank you.
I thought I read they were eligible but that was on my black berry and the type was quite small, now I see on my desk top the rules clearly and they don't help us at all do they. Come on Dodge give us an incentive thats applicable to us high end buyers !!!!!!!! Official Program Rules PROGRAM PERIOD: May 7, 2008 through June 2, 2008 PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: This special Let’s Refuel America Program is offered to eligible retail consumers who purchase (Type Sale 1) or lease (Type Sale L) an eligible vehicle and take delivery during the program period. This special Let’s Refuel America Program is an alternative to the traditional incentive offers of Consumer Cash/Lease Cash and/or APR. This offer consists of a specific number of price-protected gallons of fuel at $2.99 per gallon* for regular 87 octane unleaded, E85, or diesel purchases, per vehicle in addition to a Let’s Refuel America Bonus Cash Program on select vehicles. This program also contains the following elements:
Eligible vehicles must be delivered during the program start and end dates indicated. Eligible Models: All new, unused 2008 & 2009 MY Chrysler, Jeep, and Dodge vehicles listed in the “Let’s Refuel America Eligibility and Incentive Option Chart” below are eligible for this Let’s Refuel America incentive offer: Note: All SRT models, Sprinter, Viper, Crossfire, Wrangler, Wrangler Unlimited, Ram Chassis Cab, and Challenger models are ineligible to participate in this program. *The gallon allotment calculation used to determine three years of gas at $2.99 per gallon is as follows: 12,000 miles driven per year multiplied by 3 years, divided by vehicles adjusted combined EPA City/Hwy. average miles per gallon (MPG) (average MPG calculated via average of all body models MPG within each nameplate). Please refer to attached matrix to view individual nameplate average MPG and program gallon allotment. Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge are registered trademarks of Chrysler LLC. Your Let's Refuel America Card is valid at approximately 97% of all gas stations in the US. Click here to find a participating station near you. No deductible. See dealer for a copy of limited warranty details. Non-Transferable. Not available on SRT and certain fleet vehicles. On purchases after 07/26/07. |

Re: Goldman Sachs fuel futures/Dodges new Gas Card incentive.
Im hoping they will open this incentive up to all soon as the reality of the economy hits them right in the pocket book.
Maybe its good we wait till the end of summer for such offers to appear Im just looking for a silver lining here, lol. Damn its hard to throw away a summer like this at 40 plus, times going too fast as it is.. When I was 30 life was going slow now its like life has taken a jump to lightspeed.I just hope I have many happy summers ahead after all this crap... |

Re: Goldman Sachs fuel futures/Dodges new Gas Card incentive.
Man - i remember when we used to bitch about gas going from $1.45 to 1.50, we'd justify going to Jersey to only pay $1.32!
This should be a help though.

Re: Goldman Sachs fuel futures/Dodges new Gas Card incentive.
As unlikely as it seems right now, what if the govt decides to (finally) back the Dollar and then oil drops? Then you got a card guaranteeing at a higher pump price. Granted this seems very unlikely now but you never know... I guess everything is a gamble. Gotta know when to hold 'em and when to fold 'em. ;-)

Re: Goldman Sachs fuel futures/Dodges new Gas Card incentive.
On almost all of our vehicles that this program applies to it is better to take the rebates than the Gas card
