Got pulled over...

Well, I got nipped by the local fuzz for lack of a front license plate. I only just got my plates put on this past Friday! Don't the police have anything more important to do? Bust some drug kingpin or something?

Anyway, has anyone come up with a front license plate bracket solution that doesn't involve putting holes in ones front bumper? I HATE the idea of drilling holes in it just for a front license plate.

Any thoughts are greatly appreciated

Oh, and one other thing...the best part was that I told him that I was still waiting for my front license plate bracket, and he was like "oh, you're waiting for Ford to send it to you"...I had to bite my tongue to keep from laughing out loud at him...he noticed the front license plate missing, but missed the giant "DODGE" on the back? WTF?

Re: Got pulled over...

I am working on a solution that uses magnets epoxied to the license holder. Take another couple of the same magnets and hold up behind the bumber to click to. If using some felt on the back of the license plate holder it shouldn't mar the paint. Photo's coming maybe tomorrow as soon as the epoxy dries.

Re: Got pulled over...

Yeh, most of us know that most cops can really act like donkey beehinds !! I keep wondering if we should carry a box of white powdered donuts in our vehiculars !!! After this cop called you a Ford, you should have given a swift field sobriety test !!! If you could have diverted his attention;then squirt some super glue onto his seat !!!
