Grinding noise when turning left?

Hey guys, don't post too much here but like the forum. Have an issue with low speed (5-10 mph) when turning left only. Took it to Dodge and they couldn't replicate it, of course. Seems to happen a little more when it is cold. Any advice would help. Thx

Funny, had a noise like that on my brand new 2012 Ram 1500 the other day. Haven't taken it in yet, but can't make it do it again either!

The Nag trans makes a wheeeping noise when turning sometimes especially after going from drive to reverse or vice versa but typically happens when the car is warmed up. If this is the problem here, Chrysler is aware and is working on a fix. Does it in the Jeeps too. How do I know this? I had it diagnosed last week when I took it in for the Getrag whine.

Could it be a broken vane in the power steering pump?

It's not that I really needed 370 hp...but having 150+ hp riding shotgun at a moment's bidding w/o a 6000 rpm moonshot is what makes me feel like I'm in the right car for me. The roar of a v8 seals the deal!

Yeah this sounds like classic wheel bearings. How old/how many miles on the car?

It is a 2012 rt, only 6800 miles on it. Im gonna take it to my mechanic and have him look at it. I seems to do it more when it is cold.

Also, I forgot to mention, I've observed a grinding like noise while turning in a different car that was actually one of the front tires every so slightly scraping against the plastic liner in the fender. That was on utterly stock-sized tires (but evidently the sport tire/suspension pkg for that car). You would never think it would make a "grinding sound", but evidently that is what a rough rubber tire making light contact with unsupported plastic sounds like.

When it's cold out, and my car is cold, I get a really mild grinding or vibration when I turn the wheel to the left. I had it in my 06 ram as well. It's one of those quirky things I guess. I've not seen any ill effects from it.
