Hey guys, just thought I would start a Cdn - Ontario Thread here for others like me.
I see there are a bunch of folks in the U.S. here. And as much as I love reading the stories, I need some info that is local to me.
I have some questions for those in the GTA-Ontario area.
-do you know of any reputable dealers in the area that are not price gouging us!? (ridiculous - SE is selling $5K over MSRP. I don't want to see what the R/T will be like)
-have you ordered an '09, and whats the approx wait?
-I figure this season is over(don't want one now since winter is fast approaching...sad to say) so I will wait until next spring, but should one put in an order now?
-and what are your thoughts on when this Hype will die down and prices will be reasonable again?! ($70K for the SRT!!!! - thats $20K over MSRP)

And feel free to add anything else to this thread too.

where in ontario are you?

i am near cornwall ontario and will be dealing with notman dodge.

selling 09's at msrp so far.

a car hauler with a mix of chargers and challengers was seen on the 401 at Prescott ontario, headed west bound yesterday. not sure what models the challengers were, but orange in colour. they were prob headed across the border.

Hey Mike. I am in Toronto. But I would drive pretty far out of town to get one. I only know of a couple dealers, through their websites, that have Challengers on their lot. (so the site claims) I was referred to a girl at a Dodge dealership in Scarborough, who I will contact tomorrow.
Depending on the conversaion, I may try to see her sometime soon.
I am looking at an R/T so kinda curious how long the wait would be considering a lot of guys on this Forum have been waiting for so long. Do I order one now, and hope the best for next Spring? I can't wait until next year when the hype has died, and there are a few more cars on the lot, so we're not waiting 6months to get a Challenger.

did you call the woman at the dealership? if so how did ya make out?

im pretty sure dodge in kingston ontario has an 09 SRT8. they just got it.

i am also looking for an R/T with the 6 spd standard.
