How long can I wait?!?!?!?!?

Greetings fellow Mopar brethren!!!

First post!!! Owner of a 08 SRT8 Hemi Orange Challenger. Called Dodge headquarters today (got off the phone about 15 minutes ago), and found out that May WILL be the delivery month. Gave them my VON number and they actually gave me my VIN number! They were actually VERY helpful too. I expected some "run-around" with cust. service and they helped me out with no hassles. I told them it looks like we'll never see them.... She told me that the dealerships will have the 08 Challengers this month FOR SURE.
I asked is that a "valid" statement? She told me I could take it to the bank.
By the way, if any of you are interested, the phone number is: 800-992-1997
I wish you all great luck on your Challengers (for those of you that are getting one), and let's make Mopar fans proud by driving them baby's with pride!!! Can't wait to get mine on M-59 (for those of you familiar with the Detroit area), because I'm TIRED of lookig at all those sharp looking Mustangs strutin' thier stuff. Time for them to "move over," there's a new Sherriff in town!!!!!!! Michael

Re: How long can I wait?!?!?!?!?

Come on now Sgt. Major, we both know you would rather be driving a old Mechanized Mule or a Gamma Goat. If only dodge could fit the challanger with a 105MM tube and a optic controlled M60.

Re: How long can I wait?!?!?!?!?

dang that sucks. I hope it shows up soon. To my understanding, most if not all chally's should be delivered by the end of the month. I dunno if thats rumor or not, but i read it somewhere.

Re: How long can I wait?!?!?!?!?

I think that they will start being delivered soon but they won't finish the entire run of 7000ish (Inlcuding a few hundred to Canada and Mexico) until early July.

Re: How long can I wait?!?!?!?!?

If I understood correctly that every dealer in the US gets 1 first, then they'll go back and give each dealer the 2nd if they had one allocated. Did I hear that right? that should speed things up for me!
