From what I can see on the Internet they sold ~79,000 Challengers in 1970 (all models). Looks like they have a ways to go to catch up with that. In '71 they only sold ~27,000 though (again, these are Internet numbers), and ~25,000 in '72, so they have that beat.
i agree. One of the reasons I am looking at buying now is because I really think they may have to shut down. If so i I want to have my car. Others who waited or really wants them if this happens would have to go used if they could get someone to sell theirs. If this happens mine will not be for sell if I get it. I'd be ok with that happening with the exception some good people would all loose their jobs and thats uncool. We all need our jobs. Hopefully I will have one soon and thank you employees of Dodge for making this bad boy!
