How much for an oil change?

Not that I plan on doing this, but I was curious as to what the various dealers around the country are charging for oil changes on our Challenger's. Anyone know?

Arlington Chrysler Jeep Dodge in Arlington Heights, IL told me 109.99 for an oil/filter change for my SRT-8.

$110 bucks every 6,000 miles? I guess that's close to what I'd pay for a regular oil change every 3,000 miles.

For the SRT? If the dealer does it, it'll be > $100. They charge about $10/qt of Mobli1 0w-40, and you need 7. No coupons I've ever gotten from Dodge or the dealer ever work (they always have fine print about HEMI or SRT).

Buy your own oil when you get coupons or sales at Advance or Pepboys or Walmart if you can, and take it to the dealer. They will usually always use yours if you provide it. That will knock the total price down to the $60-70 range.

Of course, if you do it yourself, it's about $50 for oil and filter.

EDIT: Just saw you have an R/T. Negate this.

I just had my first oil change from the dealer. A "HEMI OIL CHANGE" using "ULTRA SUPREME 5W20 OIL" is supposed to run me around $22 (I had to ask, the first maint was free).

I have been inquiring about the price of synthetic oil change at various places, as well. Dealer is about $90. At my local Firestone, it is about $50 with Kendall synthetic. I don't know anything about Kendall, though. The Challenger is so new, that it wasn't even in their computer system so that they could give me a legitimate quote, anyway. I have yet to make my way to the Walmart with the service bay...

I think about $50-$60. With my coupon it was around $40.

The local Dodge dealer here...about $75...Mobile one.
The local Ford/Chrysler dealer here $160...yes that is correct! and I told them they were
insane to charge that much...then they called their "mothership" dealership and said about $80 for Mobile one...Sounds like the wild wild west with these prices...someone has a bad hair day and your hit hard.
