Coils id say 1500, exhaust about the same, dunno bout the wheels, leather seats I'd say 2 grand, matte black paint accents maybe 1500, hood 8-900, and shifter what 3-400? thats about 8 9 grand overpriced. Not for me.
$18,500 for an APPEARANCE package is rather much. Basically your throwing away a brand new hood, wheels, suspension system, shifter and seats and then paying nearly twenty grand for the "upgrades".

And how much added performance of the car, about nothing?

I'm guessing they won't get many takers for this deal.

The best part of that whole package to me would be the white round shifter knob. What, maybe 50 bucks?

I have no idea what the price is because the article says pricing is yet to be announced. Where is everyone getting the $18,500 number from?

Well the smallest performance package at Hurst is 18,500.00 I bet its more like 10 to 12k, You can probably get a Shaker hood and cover and take it to a good painter and do it yourself for around 5 with the same paint scheme as they are using.

Nice info thankyou..I couldnt do it to my current car but it is food for thought...

Personally Im going bolt on only as I fear anything that is unreverseable may hurt resale of my ride down the line as it was one of the first 09s(manuals) off the line via the von & event surrounding its release from area 51...

I kick myself for not having BB watching out for the first few 09 track packs off the line and scribbling his name on the ole girl.

It may be worth the ride up North and several cases of beer to have it done now if possible.lol..

Or buy another(an RT) and have this done.
Ill have to rob a bank,lol..that may be a hell of alot easier than selling this idea to the wife.

They listed the price on Motor Trend online Hurst Debuts Competition/Plus Dodge Challenger | Motortrend News & Auto Blog - Wide Open Throttle Nice car, but about 8 grand too much!! Mostly appearance, plus exhaust and K&N filter! They will probably sell them all at full price and over.People love having something different and will pay!I work in the car business and have learned to wait it out.The 2008 Dodge Super Bee Charger had the same blue paint and nice appearance package and wheels.Loaded ones stickered for $47,000.I just saw a used 08 Super Bee Charger at a dealer near me.Low miles, perfect condition, asking $33,000!!I think this is 1 of 1000 made.

Sorry folks, I shouldn't have said "any color" I think any factory color, but I don't know for sure. I guess what I was trying to say was that you are not limited to black or white cars like the other Hurst packages. If you saw the thread I posted in the wheels section about how the Hurst challenger is built, you'll see that they sand down the entire car. I have no idea how much work that is but it must take a fair amount of time, no? $18.5K seems a bit much but it sure looks nice!

Hurst Challenger using BFG g-Force KDW 295/40ZR20 on rear. And Hurst Chally build.
