Hybrid Challenger???

Well, you can order a Hybrid Chevrolet Tahoe and still keep the Big V-8! So, why not a Hemi Powered Challenger and/or LX Car???

Shouldnt be too hard for them. I know with Honda the hybrid accord with the v6 actually has more power than the regular v6

I think a good question would be would a V-6/Hybrid offer much better gas mileage than a V-8/Hybrid????

Re: Hybrid Challenger???

thats a good question. There are alot of variables when figuring that up, it would really depend on the choice made on when the electric motor kicks in and how much it helps.

All I was saying it that if Honda can get more poweer out of there Hybrid v6 than the standard one, then Chrysler should be able to do the same. And hopefully with a v8

Re: Hybrid Challenger???

Lexus 600H "The LS 600h L will be the world’s first production vehicle to feature a full-hybrid V8 power train. It is projected to produce more than 430 horsepower.
Equipped with a full-time all-wheel-drive system as a standard feature, the LS 600h L is designed to deliver power and performance on par with modern 12-cylinder engines while still delivering best-in-V8-class fuel efficiency. It is also projected to carry a Super Ultra-Low Emission Vehicle (SULEV) rating, meaning the LS 600h L will have nearly 70 percent fewer smog-forming emissions than the “cleanest” of its competitors."

430hp AWD....Yeah, Why can't Chrysler????????

Holy S**t..those are good numbers. Im sure chrysler could match or exceed that with a hybrid, but the question is do they want to spend the money on the research to do so? Also, what is the expected mileage rating on that lexus?

Did dodge list any specs with that hybrid? Like mileage or horsepower ratings?
