I've seen the commercials for that show and it just looked lame. I suspected it was a really poor/unbelievable script with huge car chases to cover for its lack of writing quality.

My concern was that they would wreck lots of nice cars, so I didn't want to see it for that reason, as well.

Re: If you haven't been watching the T.V show " Drive "...

It wasn't going to win any oscars but it was entertaining enough. The networks are completely out of control with all of these quick cancels. There are so many shows that do not get a chance to really show what they have to offer. It's all about instant gratification and what the sponsors want.

So Sad.... Hopefully Internet Based TV will be able to save a lot of these shows.

Check out www.Joost.com, it's in Beta now and i'm a tester it's real cool

For a site dedicated to all these cancelled shows checkout www.tvseriesfinale.com

That Challenger was nice... we didn't get to see enough of it yet

Lame show. Some writer was probably sitting around at home high as a kite and thought "Hey lets make a show like Lost with lots of characters and in each episode we learn alittle more about each person and since my favorite show was Cannonball Run lets put them all in cars!"

Just go see Grindhouse if you want to see a Challenger in a sweet car chase.

Re: If you haven't been watching the T.V show " Drive "...

Nathon Fillion as the star, Tim Minnear as the writer and some cool cars (rather DCX heavy, in fact) - it was an entertaining show. The fact that Fox sunk so much money into promoting it only to axe it after 4 episodes was pretty lame.

However, like someone else said, the problem was the characters. Too many. LOST single-handedly introduced and killed this type of show. I agree that I didn't want to get hung up on waiting 3 seasons just to get the back story on all these characters. I want 2 or 3 main characters with a bunch of interesting side characters that I don't need to be in the dark about.

Also, like LOST, there was some other "force" pulling the strings in the race. I'm fine with the idea that the racers don't know what's going on, but as a viewer, I would've liked to know. Again, another major plot point that just bothers you as you watch instead of intriguing you. It's something you can get away with in a movie when you know everything is going to be resolved in two hours.

ANYWAY: The final two episodes of Drive that they filmed will be airing back to back on July 4th (you know, when everybody already has plans). So, if you want to see it a little bit wrapped up... watch then.

ALSO: Wrecking cars wasn't a major part of the show. It certainly wasn't the Blues Brothers. And it really wasn't about the driving/racing part, although there were some cool scenes.
