I'm Getting mine!!!!!

I will be picking up my B5 classic tomorrow.

Like many of you I have wanted this car since I first saw the concept. In actuality, I've wanted this car and waited for this car for about 26 years, since I bought my first '70 challenger project car that I never got the opportunity to finish and had to sell.

My plan had been to order a classic for delivery in the spring, but that didn't work out as planned. After countless discussions with my wife we finally decided that we would be able to swing it. So after a relatively short search, I found my classic and have closed the deal. B5 blue, 6 speed, with electronic convenience group and sunroof.

I'll be going to pick it up in the morning and will have a three to four hour drive home. That should be a good break in.

I don't know what I'm going to do when I finally get see and drive this car. I have not seen a B5 in person yet and have not even driven a Challenger yet (and I haven't driven a stick in years). There won't be much sleep tonight.

I will tell you what you are going to do, after 26 years buddy you most likely will be so happy you will shed a few tears as I did!

You will get it home, rub and feel every curve and be in shock for days.

Congrats and enjoy the day is finally here!

Congrats on getting a great car! Let me add that after 12,500 miles on mine, I still enjoying it as much as the day I bought her.

congrats----you're gonna love it. The electronic throttle with the six speed takes some getting used to. You know how you are feeling right now, the anticipation and excitement. I still feel like that way every day at work just thinking about my ride home. Have fun!
