This information was posted on another forum from someone who works at the Brampton plant and had just gone back to work at the plant himself today.

OK, my understanding *cough* *cough* (my legal safety cough, I MUST protect myself ) is the 3.5's have been getting built since last week and the first 5.7's were built today.

As anything posted, take it with a grain of salt as to its accuracy. Don't flip out and take it as fact. Just thought I'd pass along the news to keep hopes up that people will start getting their cars soon. We won't know for sure until people start hitting D1 and later and start posting about it.

I have a "Priced Order Confirmation" from a dealer here for a "SE" and it says it is in "D1" status..

It has a VIN and a VON, the car was ordered June 9th..

It is an Inferno Red one.. (which is what I want )

It has an estimated ship date of Aug 4th..

unfortunately it is not the one I want, it has the 26G pkg w/sunroof and sound pkg..and I want the 26E..

he did say he would sell it for less than MSRP but over Invoice.. MSRP is 26735..

The funny part is that it is the only metro OKC Dodge dealer that is NOT a 5 star dealer..

All the rest of them, (and I went to all of them Saturday) could not tell me anything about their 'inventory' orders..

Good news any way you look at it things are back to bizzzzzz.I will take this with a grain of salt as suggested as there is so much BS out there right now concerning this car.
I've waited this long for my SRT8 whats a few more weeks.

There have been very few SE orders so the few that I heard they were going to push out each day/week should cover those few SE orders.

If this guy really does work at Brampton then I'm glad because this at least means things are moving along.

They sold only a few Se's is right not many to date.The Rt's may be a different story as of a month ago I was told 17000 total cars had been reordered I suspect many of those were Rt's and would take a long time to run thru to get to The SRt8's.
I figure they will run the Srt8's soon as well with the Rt's,but you never know until you hear it from the guys involved.
All should be fine as things ramp up a bit here.
