A Jeep has a more sportier interior than our sports cars.

I know its been beaten to death, but every time I see a new dodge with a cool interior (charger, dart, now jeep) I just gnash my teeth.

Read this article at allpar and tell me why we cant have interior options like this on a challenger.

2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8: hot SUV

Virtual gauges? 8" Touch screen?

I LOVE the challengers outside looks, dont change a thing (cept weight).. but cmon.... swap in some features found in the new Charger or Jeep. And look at that SRT steering wheel!

My 2011 R/T gauges look like an indiglo watch from the 90's... they just jacked em out of a dodge caliber and called it "retro".

I dont know... I really want a reason to upgrade to an SRT Challenger... but want more than just 100+ horsepower upgrade and some items i can get off ebay as justification to swap my R/T for a $50,000 SRT Challenger.

I love the interior in my SRT8 Challenger. I also think my steering wheel looks more racy than that new one in the jeep.

I can't say that I would change anything other than to be able to get other colors like white or red and I don't mean just the seats and door panels. That's a two tone interior and I'm not a fan of two tone.

All those things are going to be in the 2014 Charger and 300 SRT's too (Including new wheels and the 8-speed). Also the Sepia tan leather interior as an option from black or red.

Going to have to wait until the next generation of the Challenger to come out....and hope it's a good upgrade.
I like the current gauges but the next generation will have to offer a lot more than fancy gauges to get me to trade up.

Agreed, my first thought was "ohhh I don't like the new steering wheel". I like the Tuff Wheel look of the current SRT wheel. I just wish it was available on an R/T Classic.

Looks good, but I don't mind any of the earlier models... actually kinda like it more simple. The 6.2 for 2014 should at least have a couple other gauges set-up. We'll see.

I loved (in theory) the 8" touchscreen and wished I could have in a Challenger until I took an SRT Charger on an extended test drive. I had the Nav screen up, so every time I wanted to change the heated seats, heater steering wheel, or turn on/off sport mode it was multiple clicks taking my eyes off the road. Doesn't sound like a big deal until you have to do it a few times, then it gets really old. I assume if I was messing with the radio it would have been the same deal. It started reminding me (though not nearly as bad) as the awful iDrive in my '06 5 series. I now have more appreciation for the seat/wheel/sport mode buttons being where they are on my Challenger. (Love reaching down and hitting Sport mode on an on/off ramp...)

Re: A Jeep has a more sportier interior than our sports cars.

It looks like high end KIA or Buick from 2008. Both of which are nicer than my 98 lariat -ovals everywhere in plain grey plastic.

I prefer the simpler, current interior. It has more of an old school feel to it.
