General DiscussionThis section contains general discussion about the new Dodge Challenger concept. If it does not fit into a more specific area, it probably belongs in here. (Dodge Challenger General Discussion)
Hello...everyone....Ive been a member of the "Chargerforum for a while now.
(I have a 72 charger)....I am considering the New challenger next year. So
I thought I would go ahead and join this forum also....Just wanted to say "Hey" to everyone....Take care.............Darkstar
Thank you very much. And yes the 71-74 "Bee's" and Chargers are
awesome. I just hope Chrysler builds a Challenger that the average
working man can afford. I do not need an SRT8, but I would like
an R/T with the 5.7 liter Hemi. But I do not want to spend more
than 30k for it...Guess we will see soon enough........Darkstar
Welcome. 71 & 72 Bees & Chargers are awesome! I hope that's the next retro look that DCX realizes as a HUGE money maker.
Well, hopefully DCX/Doc Z will look at this; their poster, over many times , in as many states of consciousness as possible or necessary in order to illuminate as many 'Old Chrysler,Dodge, and Plymouth's into the reality of the current retroization as the 2006 Dodge Challenger Concept has evolved to its present day status !!!

I've wondered if DCX will think about changing the "look" of the new Charger. with the response that they have recieved on the Chally, they'd be foolish not to try and at least look into bringing back the (just an example) '69 Charger body style. it would blow the roof off of the car sales....but not in a 4 door. pleeeeeeease!!!
Hello Darkstar, its good to have you here.Cool my son(10) has a 72 charger he hopes to get it on the road before he is 16.I have a 74 challenger, can't wait for my new one!Of coarse Im still keeping my old one too.

As much as aficionados like us would LOVE to see a 2-door Charger reincarnate, it just isn't feasible for DCX to have TWO muscle cars on the showroom floor in this day and age. I think the general consensus is that the new Challenger is a "ok, sorry about the Charger, here's what we should have done" answer to the third and fourth door on the new Charger. Besides, I just don't have enough saved up for BOTH!!!!
