Is it just me?

I have ordered an 09 6 speed SRT-8 . I just so happen to like the seats in the R/T's better. i like the retro ribbed look of the seats and i have sat in both cars and think that they are alittle more comfortable as well. To bad they dont come that way in the SRT-8's . That would be cool . Same seat maybe dressed up with the SRT logo on the back like they have now.

Re: Is it just me?

yeah i think the rt seats are way better fit the srt8. They seem bulky or maybe it's just the leather seats, Because i think you get the same seats in rt as the srt just when you get the cloth they are the low back cloth seats. They are really comfortable.

Re: Is it just me?

I agree with you. Having seen both in person, I prefer the R/T seats as well. What somebody with an SRT could do is swap the seats for an R/T's seats if they preferred that classic look. I'm sure there would be many R/T owners willing to do that. The SRT guy could probably even get a few bucks out of the deal too.

The R/T seats are not bolstered nearly as much on the seat as the SRT seats are. While they may feel uncomfortable initially (the SRT seats), after driving aggressively I'm sure the SRT seats do a better job of holding you in. The R/T seats just look so cool though!

Re: Is it just me?

I thought it was just me. I dont like the looks of the SRT seats. I think the R/T seats look better and the look more old school, they look more like the old Challenger seats. I like the R/T seats over the SRT hands down!

Re: Is it just me?

I agree the R/T seats look more retro. I think I can live with the SRT's though.

Re: Is it just me?

Definitely like the RT seats better. I love the look of heavily bolstered seats but being 6'4" 235lbs they never fit me right and get very uncomfortable very quickly. They also make it tougher to get in and out without adding a wear pattern on the high areas of the bolsters.

Let me tell ya im 6'1 and 230 pounds and i have sat in both and the R/T seats are easy on the back and especially under the legs. Feel like it supports the back and legs better. oK i know the sides are important to but my back is what matters to be and the feel just seems to be better.
