A local Dodge dealer in New Jersey already has a waiting list of 50 potential buyers of the 2008 Dodge Challenger! If the initial run is limited, it will truly be a seller's market.
 The dealer's plan is to ask a price (probably MSRP or HIGHER) and then go down the list to see who wants it that bad. I will wait to see what happens, but it looks like I will hold off buying until the 2009 model.

Probably a good idea, Most first year models are learning curves anyway. Lets let those first year owner cars spend the time in the shop so us 2nd year owners won't have too.

Unless I can buy an '08 for MSRP, it looks like I'll be waiting for '09 as well. Should have more options and more colors in '09.

If that is the case, I will be waiting also. I read an article about speculation the new Shelby's would be at MSRP or near it by the end of the year, or early next year.

hey guys I am one of the 50 new jersey people on that list. kinda wish not now loving my srt/v8 charger but it is starting to make a lot of trips to the shop getting very upset with it too!!!!!! Any one else out there having trouble?????
