Thumbs up Magazine Reviews

Now that the Challenger is officially released, we will be seeing many articles and road tests on it. Let's post them all here.

Here are the first three:

http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do....photopanel..1.*

http://www.popularmechanics.com/auto...s/4248081.html

http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/...hallenger_srt8

Here is a great quote from the end of the Motor Trend article:

"If the genre has a future, it may or may not be powered by big-cube, torque-laden, gas-sucking V-8s. Let's smoke 'em while we've got 'em."

Ah. Learned Something. The '08 SRT8 gets an open Differential, the '09 offers a Limited Slip Diff w/ the 6 Speed Manual.

...looks like an '09 is in My Future.

You are miss informed. The car has limited slip and all speed traction control.

Isn't that interesting, the Challenger SRT isn't going to corner as well as the Charger SRT. Now I'm really glad I bought a Charger.

Ahhhhh;well, cannot Ekool,Hemee,Jay C obtain a 2008 SRT Challenger/2009 in order to allow test drives and critiques ? Although we may be a relatively small group of Moparians [as compared to the afore mentioned auto mag/blogs], Challengertalkers as a whole is a "force to be reckoned with" !!!What other group or industry entity has a more diverse, technically knowledgeable cast of characters and offers a vast driving range within our borders! Challengertalks' members can offer a feedback to Chrysler ,for example, as each gets to take it for a spin and see what works and what needs to be tweaked or addressed :
