Thumbs up Measure hp, G force and 1/4 mile times!

The guys on chargerforums are talking about a new software program that you can download and use your iPod or iPhone to determine your car’s 1/8 mile, ¼ mile time, hp, Gs, etc.

The program lets you input vehicle weight, drivetrain loss, and mods. It has a skidpad function, it measures lateral, acceleration, and braking G's. I thought you R/T owners would be interested.

It’s available from dynolicious at: Dynolicious - Auto Performance Meter for iPhone and iPod
And the AppStore for only $12.99. They say that it has been tested numerous times at tracks, and is very accurate.

You can read about this program at:

Re: Measure hp, G force and 1/4 mile times!

It's moderately accurate, at best. It has precision, but it does not have accuracy. In case you don't know what I mean; the results will be consistent in the sense that you may run a 0-60 in 4.8 but it tells you 4.6, then you do some tweaks and run a 4.7 and it tells you 4.5. In short, you can tell if you're improving, as well as what a good and bad (personal) run is, however you can't necessarily come on here and boast about a time you probably didn't actually run.
