Re: Motor Trend...YOU GO NOW!

Nice review. Looks like I picked their "best buy" favorite.

Re: Motor Trend...YOU GO NOW!

Excellent, thanks for posting!

I'm slowly starting to regain my confidence in the R/T's performance abilities - this is MUCH better than the Edmund's disasterous road tests by comparison.

Edmunds should stick to testing Prius and Hyundai cars...much more their speed.

Re: Motor Trend...YOU GO NOW!

What's up with the full-off ESP ? Can the predator fix this ?

"One major gripe: What the specs refer to as an "ESP full-off switch" isn't. Drift kings will be disappointed that, at about 25 deg of chassis slip, angle the brakes kick in to prevent the rear from stepping out any farther, though the tires are allowed to continue smoking as the car gradually slows down. "

I wasn't clear, but I'd bet they were referring to the automatic car.

Re: Motor Trend...YOU GO NOW!

Told ya Edmunds SUCKED. Anywho, good reviews, I am really Jonsing for a Challenger R/T now! Hell, wait until we get a broken in model in an owners hands with a few track runs under their belt, i'd bet good money they could knock a few tenths off of motor trends time! As for the ESP, has anyone tried holding the ESP button in for about 10 seconds? I know on my Jeep 1 touch only turns the ESP partially off, but if you hold it in for 10 seconds a message appears in the cluster that says ESPOFF and you hear a ding and that fully disables the ESP. Probably different, but just a thought.

Re: Motor Trend...YOU GO NOW!

I have to admit the Motor Trend article has me questioning my order of an SRT. I was wanting to read up on something like this, I knew an article like this was coming. I couldn't wait any more and ordered the SRT last week.

Re: Motor Trend...YOU GO NOW!

Why do you question your SRT order? What was so bad about the review?
