Re: My local dealership says '09 Challengers will be there next month?

one thing to remember about low interest incentives, not that we'll see any on the Challenger this year. They are typically in lieu of some rebate. The best thing to do is compare the cost of financing the lower cost because of the rebate with some other lender at a higher rate, compared to the overall cost of the incented rate with the higher loan value.

The last car I bought the numbers worked out that it was cheaper to finance through my bank (low interest) and take the cash rebate than to forego the rebate and finance through the dealer at 0%. Really.

Always "Do the math".

Deal with the dealership owner only!

Re: My local dealership says '09 Challengers will be there next month?

who are you responding to?

not all upsell items are bad and overpriced. it all depends on the dealership you buy from. we sell window tint with lifetime warranty for $299. That is not much more than the "tint guys" around town and we have been around for 20+ years. we sell our paint and fabric protection for $599. i have seen many bird dropping claims as everyone parks outside here and hard water etching as we have VERY hard water here and it shows on dark colored cars.

i always love how people will "help" you out and tell you not to buy stuff, but they won't help you out if you need to pay for one of those issues...
