Napa Oil Filter #7144 Recall

I know a lot of you use Napa Gold Oil Filter #7144 so I just wanted to let you know they have been recalled for bad filters and are now filter #7526.

Just found this out while picking one up at Napa auto parts...

WOW! thanks! I just found this!
I'd searched all over our forum and didn't see anything and finally typed in "Napa Gold 7144" on Yahoo and your post came up first!

I went and bought one the other day and she gave me the 7526. I said, "That's not the one. It's a 7144 or 7114 or something like that. I don't want a check engine light."

She told me to take it out and compare it and if it's not right return it.

I feel lots better now. Gonna change it tomorrow......
Thanks for the heads-up!
