Welcome David ! I'm sure to some $4000 over MSRP may seem ready for a quick sale; but can you tell us an approximate profit with a sale @MSRP ?

Re: New Challenger For Sale

I am not sure on the dealer cost yet, If it is close to the charger srt8's it will be around the 3500-4300 range plus the over sticker amount.

Re: New Challenger For Sale

It may seem silly but that is the truth behind it and if someone wants a first run 2008 SRT there will be no discounts.Collectors are going to scoop up all of them. Alot of dealers are looking to $10,000 over!!! If people paid it for a PT Cruiser they will pay for a challenger and actually have a car thats worth something.

Nothing personal but.....what a waste of money[depreciation, that is]..paying over msrp just to have the value of the car drop as soon as it hits the street..tell me how many cars actualy go up in value that are driven, not just stored.?Most of the time its at least a 5 grand hit...IM just mad i dont have the extra scratch to waste on such a beautiful car,I wanted to be one of the first, guess ill hang on till the next run

Re: New Challenger For Sale

it is very unfortunate that collectors will get them all. it will hopefully keep the second run at a reasonable price for the rest of us

Re: New Challenger For Sale

The sick irony being of course the really killer engine/paint/trannie/rear gear options won't be out until the second or more likely third years. The collectors with an ounce of sense will stall the purchase until then unless they're looking for a low VIN type situation.

Re: New Challenger For Sale

As far as I am concerned anyone paying over sticker is not a very smart person, and I hope no one from these forums helps you in your sale.
