New to the forum

I stumbled across this forum today and figured it would be a good place to stay abreast of any news on the forthcoming 2008 Challenger. I guess the first thing I need to know is how much I can expect to spend when the time comes.
A little history about me and why I'm here.
I've always loved muscle cars. When the '05 Mustang came out I just had to have one since it was the first of the retro muscle cars. I'm much more of a Mopar kind of guy, though. So, yesterday I traded in the Mustang for an '07 Jeep Wrangler. My plan is to keep the Jeep and hopefully get a Challenger in '09 or '10. '08 may be a bit too soon for me to afford it.

Re: New to the forum

Well, Welcome to Challengertalk.com ! Um,,,well,,, I probably shouldn't be interjecting since I'm not real knowledgeable , but can you take back the Wrangler, since asa it's driven off the lot a sizable amount of its MSRP value drops and in the next 1-3 yrs before you decide on which Challenger more of your $$value will be 'lost' ? Granted the sooner you get rid of said Mustang the higher value also relized... maybe drive a much older Wrangler or other vehicle ...what I mean is .. then you'll be able to save money...oh ,I'm getting ...you decide what's best..of course !!

Well, I plan to actually keep the Wrangler and get the Challenger as a second vehicle. That is, of course, IF I can even afford it.

Oh,Ok :sounds good ! I hope the new Wranglers get better mpgeez' ! A few years ago I rented a Wrangler. It was fun to tool around in for a week...even hydroplaned the rear wheels at the back end of the flooded motel's parking lot>>a real blast : but I remember seeing the fuel indicator needle falling toward the letter "E" rather quickly !!! !!!
