The rumor about there only being 5000 2008 Challengers being built with 6.1 and 5speeds autos is true. I was told that was what was told the dealers at their conference a few weeks ago. 6-speeds wont be available until the 2009 model year. May also see the 392 then also.

As of Thankgiving Day, the official countdown clock to the 2008 Challenger's February introduction reads 76 days!

Well, we made it guys- 2008, the "Year of the Challenger."

Only 36 more days until the 2008 production model is revealed at the Feb.6 Chicago Auto Show. From the spy photos, I think that we have a pretty good idea what the car will look like. I am very interested in seeing the interior. It has been reported that that is the one area that differs most significantly from the concept car.

Also, don't forget to check out the Barrett-Jackson auction on January 19 to see how much the 2008 Challenger goes for.
