Ok I have already contacted Hennessy on our behalf
They are ready for our cars on to be delivered to their shop as fast as we can transport them there. My plan is to p/u my car, go ahead and do a proper break in of only 350 miles just like my Charger, my M3 was 1200 miles. Once that is done I will be in touch w/ Exotic Car Transport for p/u at my house then non stop to TX for their SRT 600 pkg to be installed.
So we are looking at 620 HP at the crank and 650 Tq for tire smoking burnouts. I cannot say the price but you can get it if you call them. It is not to bad , I can say it is north of 10K and under $17K. They will throw the long tube headers in w/it.

Well, since I doubt I'll be able to afford one , I'll offer to drive it for you to Texas[ and back to you of course ],say for $1-200 under what ECT would charge ! That way I'll at least get to drive a new one !
From what i've heard, Hennessy is a crook and has several law suits against him for theft and/or damage to people's Vipers.
+1 I read a story about them swapping a guys engine and putting it in a different customers car. I've also heard multiple stories about them keeping cars for extended periods of time. Plus, why not just get an STS turbo, or a GS Motorsports? Much cheaper than hennessey.
Don't worry, he probably won't be using Hennessey.
What are you my wife ?
Henn. has had issues in the past for sure. I looked into GS Motorsports and would not be adverse to using them once I am finished w/my due diligence on their operation. If they have similar pkgs in place for a competitive price I could go that way as well.
Henn has a SRT500 pkg that is about $9K that does not involve any type of FI. I am not a huge fan of FI systems but I am thinking that w/ a weight of 4k lbs and only 425 hp, not to mention their substantial driveline loss, the perform. of our car may be somewhat on the wanting side.
I dont want to feel like I have to avoid contact at stop lights when an EVO/Sti (like mine) or GT500, Camaro etc starts revving on me.

STS turbo is a bad idea... a turbo doesnt need to be back there.
GS motorsports has quite the negative rep as well. Scott has done some very interesting things to many people in the Dakota world, and is starting to get a rep with the Hemi crowd as well for similar reasons...
Hennessy makes great cars... sometimes.. and when he wants to. The rest of the time....
Every performance shop you go to has the good and the bad opinions about them.
Very Very true, why is that ???
I had my M3 completely race preped and modded by a well know Grand Am M3 race team. This team has a huge shop, NASCAR style transporter, lots of business etc.. Only after my car was torn apart did I learn they were going bankrupt, running a chop shop in the back, had lots of stolen parts being put in cars, what a fuking mess. After 3 months I had to hire a flat bed to literally steal my car back in the middle of the night. Not to mention I was out $15K in engine mods
