Ordered my 09 R/T!

Well, after a long personal debate, and many an hour spent admiring the SRT8 at the dealership, I took the dive. Put 900$ down on a black\black R/T 6-speed, 18" basic R/T wheels. Cloth seats, MyGig, and the SRT sound system (I had to trade leather seats if I wanted that..), HID headlights, and that's it. Dealer says it'll be here around October at the latest. No build number or VIN yet.

Thats great news. What SRT sound system are you talking bout though, the boston acoustic, or kicker?

Kicker is not available on R/T. Must be sound II which is Boston with the subwoofer....I loved it in the Charger!

ok i thougth that was what he was referring to. That is an awesome sound system, atleast coming from the factory.

I didn't think you can order the Sound Group II or the Hids without ordering the J package.

I'm not really sure, over-all, what kind of packages I got, to be honest. I told him what I wanted, and he got as close as he could. The whole no leather seats if you want an awesome sound system confused me a little, but it kept the MSRP nice and low. I'll get a build number and a VIN within the next 4 weeks, he told me.

Are they that much cheaper than the SRT8?
