Other engine options

I will own this car, but I won't be paying over sticker for it, when the turbo solstice came out, the dealers did the same thing, I waited and finally paid sticker.....I plan on doing the same thing with this car, I may not be the first on the block, but I will have an extra 20k in mypocket...I understand they have a V6 and regular Hemi in the works, does anyone know about this???? Thanks, G

Re: Other engine options

5.7 will have 380hp and better mpg than the current version from what they stated. current 3.5 on the charger is a dog and i know they weigh the same so unless 3.5 gets updated its gonna be a slow mofo. 5.7 is probably the best bet for me if i ever buy the chally.

Re: Other engine options

Also, the 5.7 R/T will not have the $2,100 gas guzzler tax, will be cheaper, will have a lifetime powertrain warranty (as opposed to 3 years) and will get much better gas mileage with the MDS. It may even carry lesser insurance rates than the 6.1 SRT.

Re: Other engine options

Id have to disagree Pentool, I drove a 3.5 liter Charger SXT and I thought it was pretty peppy considering the weight of the car....I had the TRACS light flashing...Just mt opinion.........Darkstar

Re: Other engine options

^^^Yeah Pentool, where does that come from? The six banger Charger does not weigh the same as the V8 models....about 250 lbs less. From what I've heard, "dog" would not be the term to describe them.
