where i live we get some days in the winter that its colder than -40. Don't matter if you're talking C of F, they're the same at that temp.

In the summer we get hot, and dry! Not arizona dry, but dry.
We always hit stretches in the 100's in the summer. I don't know about records but hitting 110 at least once in the summer is normal.

now thats a wide spectrum of temps...way too wide for me. Either hot or cold will do but not both extremes
