General Challenger DiscussionThis section contains general discussion about the Dodge Challenger. If it does not fit into a more specific area, it probably belongs in here. (Dodge Challenger General Discussion)
Bob Frederick is THE MAN !!!!! He found me exactly the car I wanted (09 ToRed 6-speed SRT with every option but the sunroof) in Michigan and had it brought to his dealership. I flew in, picked up the car, and drove it 750 miles back to Memphis, stopping for the night in Cincinnati. Bob has a very cool little round sticker that he designed and put on the back of the rear spoiler on the left side. It's the only dealer identification I've ever left on any car I've bought. I'll post some pix of it and more of the car soon.
Obviously, I am in love with this vehicle. The power, ride, handing, braking, styling, sound system, comfort, and quality are outstanding. I have thought of many cars in the past as a "starting point" for the car I really want, but not this one. It is simply a superb and very complete overall package straight from the factory and needs very little to make it "right", although I have already done a few mods: I had Bob install the Mopar CAI, strut tower brace, and door sill guards. The skip-shift eliminator and black "MOPAR" hood badge from Billet Specialties are here and will be going on when I get a spare minute.
Now that she is broken if from the drive home, I want to go out and really see what she can do, if it will just stop raining....
I have seen alot of people on here buying from bob frederick. Congrats!!! Pics are always wanted here. How long did you research before you purchased? Im just curious because ive been looking for over a month now and out of the 3 local dealers by me, i cannot get a call back.

I pretty much decided from reading this forum that I wanted to buy it from Bob. I gave him a deposit in October and he told me he could get it for me by the end of the year, which he did. This sounded a lot better than the 4+ months some other people had been waiting for cars they ordered. When I went to a local dealer here in Memphis and the salesman tried to put the "hard sell" on me to buy an SRT for several thousand over MSRP that did not have the options I wanted, I KNEW I had made the right choice in going through Bob. He is Challenger nut like all of us and is amazingly well connected at Dodge. He didn't get me almost what I wanted, he got me EXACTLY what I wanted.
I would go to Bob but I live in Ohio and the way my work schedule is, I would drive there to get a Chally and my work would call me in. If anyone knows Bob personally, tell him to open in Northwest Ohio and help us out who cant even get a call back from a dealer.
Is he in Ohio??? I thought he was further south. I just found Fredericks chrysler in Ohio. I also looked at the dealer rating for them on a couple different websites and they scored a 1.5 out of 5. I have read alot of good reviews on here about them so I wonder what the deal is. the only thing they scored high on was pricing (5 out of 5).
