Wink Pinks

I enjoy watching the TV show "Pinks" on the (cable) Speed Channel.

Did you notice that the most common (non-rice) rides are 1980s Mustangs that were resurrected from the scrap pile and newer Camaros and Firebirds?

You never see older MOPARs (like 'Cudas, Challengers, Chargers, Road Runners, etc.) because they are true collectibles and no sane person would risk them in a "winner take all" race!

Re: Pinks

As I understand it on 12/28 they are supposed to have a Chevy vs. Dodge shootout. However, it is truck vs. truck.

Re: Pinks

I just caught a re-run episode of Pinks where two recycled 1980s Mustangs were going at it (naturally...no MOPARS).

During the negotiation stage, one of the Mustang drivers bargained not to use his NOS if the other would do the same (i.e., have a "heads-up" race). As it turned out, the first Mustang was bluffing and had a fake NOS bottle! It was the first time on the show that someone used blatent trickery to get an advantage. Who can you trust nowadays???
