Pistol grip option

Question (last one I promise for awhile) The 2009 model challenger -Is the Pistol grip shifter exclusive to the manual transmission or does it come with the automatic transmission?

Re: Pistol grip option

I believe it's exclusive to the manual. There's a T slap stick available through Mopar for the autos. Also there's an aftermarket vendor on this form, Butch ( I can't remember company name "Wings" I think), who sells pistol grips for autos.

Re: Pistol grip option

The chromed slapstick from Mopar looks pretty cool... I've been trying to find where on their site to buy one but maybe its not available yet.

Re: Pistol grip option

Yeah that T shift looks like very qaulity stuff as well glad to see it that the addons represent the qaulity put into this car..Nothing worse than to see a nice ride with cheap after market stuff slapped on it.

Re: Pistol grip option

I actually have a number of them (the factory style) that are laying around here. We have been installing my Carbon Fiber almost exclusively on the Challengers. The only wood one for a Challenger so far went to Hennessey Performance. They are very happy with the product. Sales for the LX platforms are steady, but most are choosing Carbon Fiber. A few of 300 C models are doing the light wood.

Rider Graphics ( an excellent sponsor here) posted their photos of a 1970 NOS MOPAR Grip we custom made for their car and it looks good.

We are currently working on the Pistol Grip with the 6 speed pattern and some will be in Vipers very soon courtesy of Hennessey.

Call me and let me know what you want.
