Please help me decode this window sticker...

Hey All:

Been lurking for a while, but thought I'd finally post up. I am thinking about going to look at this car, but:

Does anyone know if this car has a 3.92 anti spin or a 3.08 open diff? The window sticker says both.

Thanks!

I believe since it is an automatic, that it has 3.08 gears. The 3.92 gears are found on 6 speed models.

I did write "I believe" and not "I know". Some more authoritative members will confirm or deny.

It has the optional 5 speed automatic, so it'll have the 3.06 gears.

It does, however, have the anti-spin (posi) gear end.

For your information, the only "stock" automatic cars to have a 3.92 rear gears would be the Mopar '11 and '12s. Period!

This car is a 2012 model year if that makes any difference.

Curious: How do you know it has the anti-spin if it has the 3.08?

Correct, looks like being an Automatic it will come with the 3.06 rear. Does have the "Anti-slip" option so will have the limited slip rear diff.

OK Duh. I see it now.

Well, that's less interesting, especially since I also saw it has the sun roof.

I wish I could get that deal, I'll cut holes in people's cars for $1,000 no problem!

I think that it has the "Heritage Wheels", though:
20-Inch x 8-Inch Aluminum Wheels $ 995

But no "STP"...

The things on the left are standard equipment. The things on the right are optional equipment that the cars has. The 6-speed manual is standard equipment for the R/T but this particular car as an additional and optional upgrade to the automatic transmission which would give it 3.06 gears with a limited slip rear end. The 28M package is the Classic model which this car is as well.

The automatic transmission used to be standard equipment and they charged an extra $1,000 for the 6-speed. I believe in 2010-11, they reversed it, and now charge extra for the automatic.

Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it.

I can work on the stuff but the window sticker is a mystery apparently. Its definitely a shame they don't put a real gear in the automatic cars.

I was in Texas a week ago, and there were some good deals to be had. The cars up here all tend to be max-optioned, and I am looking for something of a stripper model.
