Is it just me or is the hype over this nostalgic color just a little too much. Many years ago, when they dropped this color on the Chargers, the same kind of hype entailed, only to find out most cars left in the showroom lots, at least up here, were plum crazy. And this is what I noticed about this color, The car gets lost in it...the body line are visually obscured on the road, It's the only color that visually pulls from the tire color, machine finished wheels look drab in it, Chrome wheel/high polish looks too bling, if you know what I mean, you can't effectively stripe it because it is too dark, but not dark enough, and white is too stark. Back in the day it was bad ass on a car that draws top dollar today in this color, I get it.....but on this modern version, it is now effectively the worst lookiing color IMHO.....as far as resale, not as if I would EVER sell mine, people just won't get it either.....My best color picks are these: #1 black....best showroom color, can't live with it..too anal..hemi orange #2, (really the best from an owner driver standpoint, always stands out in all lighting conditions, unique) #3 deep water, I love this color, #4, gun metal grey on the r/t's..badd ass tint and chrome look awesome on it, #5 torred, c'mon everone has a red sport car, still looks nice though..#6, silver, extremely regal, very nice, my srt8 maggie was silver, this color is too under stated and tame for this monster though.....#7 stone white..awesome with chrome and tint must have black striping or it looks like a marshmallow coming at you on the high way. I love the hurst in white..#8 yellow, it's your bananna, do what ever you want with it........
